Vessel Influence Part 2

is a company that we recently found through FAB (an excellent little app store that offers random modern/quirky items.)

Nervous System is filled with design items that make us giddy.

They sum up their description quite nicely on their webpage:

“Nervous System is a design studio that works at the intersection of science, art, and technology. We create using a novel process that employs computer simulation to generate designs and digital fabrication to realize products. Drawing inspiration from natural phenomena, we write computer programs mimicking processes and patterns found in nature and use those programs to create unique and affordable art, jewelry, and housewares.”

For now, we’ll focus on their vessel jewelry.

Be sure to see our Vessel Influence Part 1 article.

The vessel earrings also come in silver and black.

When you aren’t designing, what are your favorite hobbies?

“Keeping a coral reef aquarium. Hiking”

If you could have one person wear your work, who would it be?
