The bee – once influenced designs worn by Napoleon Bonaparte. Now the honeycomb – this mass of hexagonal wax cells has influenced Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. It has inspired a beautiful SS13 collection. Influencing most everything in the line – from honeycomb head pieces to heels.
The honeycomb not only has influenced this line but Buenos Aires jewelry designer, Bendita Indomina.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the laser cut honeycomb, but we’ll focus on this designer for now.
This style is feeding into not only necklaces, but cuffs and earrings.
Super light in weight, we think it’s a nice choice to add a little unexpected element to pretty much anything.
