I’ve had the opportunity to attend the O’More College of Design Runway show for three years now and I have to say that this year’s production was on point. In previous years, the event was held at The Factory in Franklin – rightfully so considering the college is based in Franklin. However, the venue always felt a little small for the number of guests that would attend and the runway was always raised which I felt made it hard to see the designs as naturally as possible. This year, the production team put on their creative hats and housed the event at the John C. Tune Airport in West Nashville. The runway show and VIP pre-party took place in one of the airplane hangars. Lighting was strategically placed around the runway and risers were there for guests who were in the back – offering up a solid view of every piece sent down the runway. 5oo+ guests joined in to watch the selected junior & senior collections be presented.
Senior Stephanie Caporella was awarded the Distinguished Designer Award and junior Sara Hinkle received the Design achievement Award. Congrats to all the students for all their hard work. It was a pleasure to see their designs.
Here are a few of my favorite designs of the evening.

Special thanks to O’More College of Design, Dr. Rosen, and Libby Callaway for having me. A lovely event as always.
