The Nashville Symphony did a wonderful job again this year when they presented Monique Lhuillier.
The details of the event can be found in our article HERE.
In a synopsis, the evening was filled with beautiful fashion in every direction. Guests donned their prettiest new spring dresses. We saw a few Alice&Olivia dresses as well as a few pieces by Monique from her spring 2013 line.
If you happened to try the drink made with thyme, you were in for a treat. Very refreshing and sweet.
Guests were ushered into the hall and were guided to their seats shortly after cocktails.
We were seated just to the left of the stage.
Karen Elson opened the show. She is such a talented and sweet lady. A charming little treasure that Nashville can call their own.
It was such a pleasure to watch my friends walk on such a beautiful runway. Pair the reflections on the runway’s dark shiny floor with the gorgeous malachite background – both of which only enhanced the beauty of the gowns.
Monique doesn’t disappoint.

The show was closed with the SXSW band Leagues
They are actually based out of Nashville as well.
Guests split off into their different sectioned parties. The highest level patrons went to the tented area while the “Young and Fashionable” went to the entrance area.
We ended up under the tent to admire the beautiful job of the design team. Big Events gave guests a visual treat.
Isn’t the birdcage lovely!
The weather was perfect! Such a wonderful night to be outside.
We most certainly look forward to next year. It’s always a wonderful event.
Thank you, Nashville Symphony, Lexus Nashville, Gus Mayer Nashville, Genesco, Ajax Turner, Big Events, GBT Realty Corporation, Private Edition and Trumps Salon & Spa for putting on such a wonderful event!
And a final kudos goes to Chairs Elizabeth Broyhill and Elizabeth Dennis.
Well done, Ladies!
